i narrowly escaped

i narrowly escaped
and ran as fast as i could
across loss street
and down found street
and over blue avenue
i tripped and i slid
i crawled and i hid
i got into a garbage can
a little kid put on the lid
i waited there a week
i really needed some sleep
but then i heard a sound
and so i knew i had been found
when i saw the light of day
that's when i got away
i ran to the lake
i stepped on a rake
that somebody forgot to put away
when i came to i saw a canoe
right away i knew exactly what i had to do
you're the only one i knew
i had to get to you
so i took off my shoes
and i dove into the blue water
naturally i was liquified
i swan as fast as i can
the water was very cold
in the weeds i saw a piece
of something like shiny gold
naturally i was googly-eyed
when i was arose the surface was froze
no matter where i'd go i couldn't find any kind of hole
i looked everywhere i was running out of air
suddenly a polar bear pulled me out and licked my hair
i thanked here real quick and grabbed a great big stick
she looked at me to say "if i ate you you'd make me sick"
naturally i was terrified
i ran as i had planned
i got in the van and i drove
i found the road and i followed
and then i think the van exploded
some how i made it out
but that i can't explain
but that was when it happened all again
that was when it happened all again
