Slippery Slope

from So Duh Pop! by Choir And Marching Band

/

lyrics

It’s a slippery slope and there’s not enough rope to lift if you drop from the bottom to the top. But if the price is too dear, the less you have the less you fear. We can give it all away. There’ll be nothing left to pay for. But if we can’t get up then we must come down. If we can’t get down then we must rise up. We can still succeed if we can land on our knees. But there’s no turning back when you’re falling in between the cracks. If we can reach the peak a humble monkey may look up and speak something mumbo jumbo greek geek double speak for the weak. But if we can’t get up then we must come down. And if we can’t get down then we must rise up. There’s a big black hole in the middle of the road. And the rich middle poor; we’re all headed for the same ditch. And the world is so full of it. And we’re all so full of it. And the earth is so stuffed full of it it’s going to pop like a top ten hit.
